Cornerstone Christian Preschool exists to provide quality care and education for young children in a loving, Christian atmosphere. We believe that each area of development, physical, social, emotional, intellectual, and spiritual must be acknowledged and provided for. We offer a positive and upbeat atmosphere for the children at Cornerstone Christian Preschool. We support the family and strive to maintain a strong link with parents. We believe children’s self esteem is extremely important and we attempt to make them feel like very important people, which they are! We believe each child learns best with a teacher who demonstrates a caring behavior and respect for each child. Our teachers are not only educationally qualified but are also loving, energetic, and creative. Our teachers are involved in planning the environment and interact with each child as guides and facilitators for learning, using developmentally appropriate curriculum.
Each child in our program has control over what happens to them through choices they make. They plan, work and evaluate with the teachers. This strengthens their sense of self worth. We also believe that each child is a special gift from God, they are each unique. Our prayer is that each child comes to know and understand how special they are and how much Jesus loves them!
